Marshall Roastery Fire Recovery Fund

from $10.00

Hello! If you’re at this link it’s because you know we recently had a small “fire related incident” at our Marshall, Texas, roastery. Thankfully everyone’s okay; but as you can imagine, repairs are going to be a bit of a bite for us. Insurance deductibles and consequent premiums for claims being what they are, we figured we’d probably rather just pay directly for repairs.

Unfortunately, with a couple giant holes in the wall and a 9x9 section of roof ripped off then placed (not sealed) back on by the Marshall Fire Department (great people who helped us immensely!), the subsequent rains came in and drenched the inside. All in all, not a great event in the life of Brown Coffee Company.

You can help! We’ve set up this link to accept donations to help us defray our rebuild costs, which include: new ducting (parts and labor); new electrical work and some ceiling modifications to make the place safe to roast again according to our local Fire Marshal. He has been kind enough to let us try to roast on a temporary basis with some ad-hoc ducting; but new (replacement) ducting is not cheap and so we thought we’d ask as many of our coffee family as possible to pitch in what they can to the cause.

Our goal is to raise $9,500 by February 4, 2024.

So many of you have asked us how you can help. And so many have already pitched in in ways you can. THANK YOU to everyone who donated time, services, a temporary place to roast, prayers and good vibes! It means so much to us.

Love, Team Brown
